Bosco Wong & Tavia Yeung Crowned StarHub's TVB TV King & Queen

Last night a group of TVB artists flew to Singapore to attend the StarHub TVB Awards 2013. The attending artists included Bosco Wong, Tavia Yeung, Raymond Lam, Kate Tsui, Linda Chung, Kenneth Ma, Myolie Wu, Niki Chow, Jason Chan, Christine Kuo, Mandy Wong, Him Law, Ruco Chan, Grace Wong, Michelle Yim, Michael Miu and his wife Jamie Chik, Corinna Chamberlain, King Kong and Elaine Yiu. All attending artists got an award, making it a happy night for everyone. Bosco and Tavia were crowned StarHub's TV King and Queen and Triumph in the Skies II was the Best Series.

The most frightening of the night was when Christine Kuo appeared on the green carpet with Jason Chan. Christine seems to have put on a lot of weight, she had a double chin and had a very chubby figure. She looked like she's pregnant.

Kate Tsui was presented with two awards, the "My Favorite Character" and "Most Dazzling Female Artist" awards. She expressed: "I'm very happy, I get to take home awards and have a reunion with my fellow colleagues. (Do you have more confidence for the year-end TVB awards?) I have confidence in myself, but also have to rely on the right timing and place. I will keep working hard."

Going back to a few nights ago, former couple Myolie Wu and Bosco Wong appeared at the airport on the same day to depart to Singapore, but the two avoided to be on the same flight. Myolie denied that she feared to be on the same flight as Bosco, she explained because of her work schedule, she had to leave a little later.

Linda Chung Asked to Give "Protection Fee" in Mainland

Yesterday Linda Chung, Kristal Tin, Ruco Chan and Edwin Siu attended TVB new series Brother's Keeper promotional event. During the games, Kristal pretended to kiss Linda; Ruco and Edwin embraced pretending to be gay. When speaking of Ada Choi's "kidnap-like" incident in Xi'an, Linda thought it was very terrifying: "I will have the highest level of alertness when I'm working in Mainland. I usually have my manager with me, but I've once encountered a small mishap too, someone tried to get 'protection fee' from the crew." It was said she could get rumored boyfriend Philip Ng to teach her a few defensive moves, Linda said: "Its useless to know martial arts when you don't have the physical strength."

Due to No. 8 Typhoon Usagi hitting Hong Kong, Linda's original schedule of shooting Tiger Cubs II promotional clip and a commercial were cancelled. She took all her safety measures and hopes the typhoon will keep viewers at home to watch Brother's Keeper premiere and bring high ratings.

Edwin was very pleased Brother's Keeper brought him more jobs. He laughed and said he still needs several years to save up enough "wife savings". He is currently busy shooting Wong Jing's series World of Turbulence in Mainland. Wong Jing paired him and Yiu Yiu together, Edwin hoped they can be as comedic as Stephen Chow and Sandra Ng, but unfortunately they don't have any kiss scenes. Edwin's most memorable scene was when he danced with sexy girls. "It was awkward, they were swinging around, their hair were flinging here and there. It felt like a ghost went into my body, luckily I was able to withstand it." As for TVB's HK$900,000 anti-competition fine, Edwin said: "Joey Yung said it well, if we weren't asked to speak Mandarin, our Mandarin wouldn't have improved so fast."

Moses Chan Gets New Home Ready to Welcome Pregnant Aimee Back

Yesterday Moses Chan attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Chow Tai Fook's new store opening ceremony. Moses was presented with a 1117 number affiliation to commemorate November 17, 2007, the day he became TV King, but Moses forgot about that important moment. He was also given a golden baby bracelet. Since Moses married Aimee Chan, they have been separated in two locations -- Aimee is in Canada for her pregnancy, while Moses is back in HK working. As for the gender of the baby, Moses announced Aimee is returning to HK soon, he said: "Relax! You won't miss out."

However, Moses is currently busy working on a new film, so he will not be able to make a personal trip to Canada to bring his wife back, instead a relative will be traveling back with her and he will definitely pick her up at the airport. Asked of the baby's gender? Moses kept it a secret: "I cannot tell you yet, later! I can tell you all that we have already chosen the baby's English name, and our parents are responsible for the Chinese name." Because pregnant women cannot come into close contact with animals, but Aimee still took a picture with her dog. Moses said: "She knows, she won't be around him all the time. She will keep her distance. There are some things pregnany women must do. (Renovations done at the new home?) Still a lot to do, but its about done. I'm very excited for many things, there were just too many happy events this year, one wave after another. I'm almost done shooting my new film, so I'll have time to accompany my wife because she's about to enter the most difficult trimester. She gets tired easily. (Will you give her massages when she gets leg cramps?) Of course! I need to learn how take care of the newborn and my wife."

Its been a while since Moses been in a film, it was said there was a major increase in his salary this time around. Moses smiled and denied. He frankly expressed he's not paid 10 times more, like how its rumored in the public. Moses had a shiny 4 karat diamond ring on his ring finger, he laughed and said he hopes Chow Tai Fook will give him one too. Asked if he'll consider buying his wife a few more diamonds since he's earning a lot more now? Moses' eyes grew big as he shouted: "Wah! Then I'll have to get lots of discounts in order to do so!"

"Lesbian" Kate Tsui Fights for Nancy Wu with Bosco Wong

Yesterday Bosco Wong, Kate Tsui, Nancy Wu, Sharon Chan, Elena Kong and Ben Wong attended TVB new series Midas blessing ceremony. The characters in this series will be entangled in a complicated relationship, Kate pursues Bosco's wife Nancy Wu and Bosco is going to have several girlfriends. Nancy disclosed the latest script revealed she'll have a passionate kiss scene with her ex-boyfriend Pal Sinn from the series.

Bosco said: "I heard from the scriptwriter, Kate's role pretends to be a TBG (lesbian) only because she wanted to take revenge on me. She may end up murdering me too. (Kate said you have many girlfriends?) Because I'm a 30+ financial expert in the series, I have a home, car, reputation and money. (You are the same in real life?) Thank you for giving me face! Although I have many girlfriends in this series, there won't be any kiss scenes. It will just be explained through the dialogue, I'm not as lucky as Chilam Cheung."

Because Kate still has the flu, she has not filmed the kiss scene with Nancy Wu yet. She said: "I think I have to kiss Toby Leung too. Since I'm not sure if these scenes could be broadcast, I am still considering. (Can you accept kissing a girl?) Never experienced it before. I had some contact when playing around with my friends. The plot is about me and Bosco fighting for Nancy. The relationships are just complicated, but something new."

Yesterday it was Nancy's 32nd birthday. She disclosed she'll be celebrating with her boyfriend and friends. As for having a kiss scene with Kate in the new series, Nancy said: "Actually, my current most fear is the passionate kiss with Pal Gor (Pal Sinn) because I call him 'Dad' in real life. For me to do this, I will have to get myself drunk. I'm more nervous about this kiss then the one with Kate. I just can't believe one mountain is higher than the previous mountain!"

Chilam Cheung Gets Wet for "Cool Mor Diary" & TITS Theme Song MV

The popular "Cool Mor" Chilam Cheung from Triumph in the Skies II had renewed his singing contract and is preparing for his upcoming album. He performed a cover of Eason Chan's classic Triumph in the Skies theme song, which had already went viral online. Due to the positive response, Chilam's record label decided to shoot an MV for the song as well and launch a photo book Cool Mor Diary to satisfy the fans of this "handsome pilot".

Chilam participated in drafting, arrangement and costumes for his MV. He also put his heart into the MV's story. He joked: "Nobody knows Cool Mor better than me. Of course, I participated in writing the Diary."

As for the MV's female lead, he invited newcomer Jessie Lee, whom had a "bed scene" with him. Chilam appeared sitting on the bed while helping Jessie button her shirt. But what everyone is most anticipating is Chilam getting wet in the shower.

Also, Chilam's new boss Stephen Shiu Jr admitted in a radio interview earlier that he did offer Chilam 8 figures to sign the contract with him. He said: "Even if its double the amount, I wouldn't mind." Stephen Shiu Jr also admitted he is currently in discussions with TVB on a TITS movie.

Wayne Lai Praises Louisa So a Strong Co-Star, Collaborates Again After 10 Years

Yesterday Wayne Lai, Louisa So, Jennifer Shum, King Sir and Tony Hung attended the costume fitting of TVB new series Men Getting Married. Wayne laughed and said the series plays with uniform enticing, he'll be playing Louisa's driver. Wayne expressed the last time he worked with Louisa was over 10 years ago in TVB series Anti Crime, where they played a bickering pair. He's happy to collaborate with her again.

Wayne said: "After 10+ years, we've had our experiences and Louisa is a good actress. Its rare to get such a strong co-star, I'm look forward to it. At my age, its difficult to find a partner to match me. If this pairing does well, then I'll have more to choose from and not just Sheren Tang."

It was reported Sheren Tang thinks she has a tumor in her neck, Wayne expressed he does not really keep in touch with Sheren. Its been several months since they last seen each other, but last time he didn't feel she had any issues. Will he tell Sheren to relax a little? He said: "Sheren working with me is a joy because I am quite laid back. (Will you call her to show your concern?) I'll have to see what the situation is like first. I always tell her to open up. I know she gets anxious about her work, whereas I am more relaxed. I've always seen fame like its a floating cloud."

Louisa wanted Wayne's Son to Marry Her

Louisa was very pleased to have the opportunity to work with Wayne again. She said this year is an enriching year for her because she got to work with Gardner Tse, Anthony Wong and Wayne, three smart men from three different industries. She feels very blessed. "I've already got the script for 6 episodes, its great. I'm really excited." What's most exciting to Louisa is that she gets to work with her stage play mentor King Sir. "We collaborated before in stage plays, but its strange, after so many years at TVB, we have never collaborated in a series before. Fate has come, I will really take advantage of it." Louisa recalls she used to joke around with Wayne's son in the past. She would tell his son to marry her when he grows up. "That time I called Wayne and his wife my in-laws. I heard his son is now all grown up, I look forward to meet him."

Kate Tsui a Madam with High Heels, Didn't Want to Look Like a Hobbit

Kate Tsui attended SaSa's new store opening ceremony in a low-cut dress. In Kate's new series Sniper Standoff, she recalled personally taking on the dangerous action scenes and unfortunately got injured. "In one scene, I had to be on wires, I accidentally injured my thighs and had bruises all over my two legs. At the time I took pictures for memories. Proves how hard working I am." Kate denied having intentions to establish a 'fighter girl' image, she just tries her best in her roles.

It was said the Madam she portrays in the series often wears high heels. Kate explained: "I am short, so I have to wear high heels to make myself look taller, otherwise I would look like a hobbit standing next to my co-stars." Sniper Standoff replaced Triumph in the Skies II, the TV ratings clearly dropped, but Kate felt there is buffer time needed when a new series premieres. She will try her best to promote and hopes everyone won't put too much pressure on them.

Moses Chan Will Reveal if Baby is Boy or Girl After Mid-Autumn Festival

Yesterday Mosess Chan and Eliza Sam (Heung Heung) attended a German watchmaker Glashutte's event held on "The Bounty", an ancient ship, at the Tsim Sha Tsui harbour. The sexily dressed Heung Heung had high heels on, but had trouble maintaining her balance, the MC had to give her a hand to avoid embarrassing herself.

Moses hopes to buy a watch that he could pass down generations after generations. Asked if he wanted to buy a male or female watch? He said: "I will tell you later. Let's wait until Aimee comes back to HK before we announce. She'll probably be back after Mid-Autumn Festival." There is still another half of a year left before Moses' TVB contract expires, he is currently discussing the contract renewal with the company now. "I have to plan for the future and have careful planning because I must put my family first, but still have to work hard on my jobs as well. I'll have a chat with each company. (Are their other TV stations approaching you?) I have other business to discuss." Asked if he'll copy Raymond Lam, start his own company and leave TVB? Moses believed its better to let others handle his jobs.

Heung Heung had rumors with "big boy" Alan Wan, she said: "We are just friends. We both came back from overseas. He isn't pursing me. Last time after the event was done, we both had to go back to TVB, so we had lunch." As for her appearance in a tight tank top on TVB series Sniper Standoff had caught a lot of attention, Heung Heung said: "I had to convey the struggles I go through as a female working in a male dominated profession. I understand you all want to use this to make topics, but I hope everyone does not put our hard efforts and training to waste."

Chilam Cheung & Fala Chen Are the "Audience Choice Couple"; Cast Hopes for TITS2 Sequel & Movie

Chilam Cheung & Fala Chen Are the "Audience Choice Couple"; Cast Hopes for TITS2 Sequel & Movie

Last night, the Triumph in the Skies II had its grand finale. As expected, it was a happy ending, Fala Chen ultimately chose Sam Gor Francis Ng; Ron Ng and Myolie Wu became a couple. Last night, the cast watched the finale with the audience at a shopping mall event, but unfortunately Francis, Ron and Kenneth Ma were absent. "Cool Mor" Chilam Cheung, Myolie Wu, Fala Chen, Nancy Wu and Elena Kong attended the event in their costumes. There were over 300 at the location and nearly a thousand other residents standing on the sides. A crowd of people surrounded Chilam, and when the MC asked the audience who they wished Fala chose, Francis or Chilam? The audience cheered loudly when Chilam's name was mentioned. Chilam and Fala were the "audience choice couple".

Chilam joked if the TV rating reaches 60 points, the whole cast will reveal their "two dots", but Fala laughed and said she only will reveal "one dot" and won't tell which dot it will be. Myolie joked Fala and Chilam should reenact their famous ancient castle sex scene.

When Myolie and Ron's kiss and hug scene aired, the crowd created astir, making Myolie smile in a bit of embarrassment, she said: "I was absent from the previous promotions, this time I rushed back to HK to attend this event on the risk of having to lose money." She wishes for a TITS third installment or a movie, and predicts the TV rating should surpass 40 points.

Chilam expressed the serial's theme is "pilots protects passengers", but this time the feeling is "Everyone protects Cool Mor". Chilam is wishful for a TITS third installment or a TITS movie as well, so everyone can continue their fate. "I chatted with Tommy Leung about this, the movie version probably will happen next year, but I'm not sure if its going to be the original cast." It was said TITS2 helped him pocket nearly HK$10 million, and when Francis found out, he joked he only got a few HK$10,000. Chilam said: "Don't believe Francis, he is rich. As for myself, I've always been worth a high price." Fala missed her role "Holiday" and really hoped to be part of TITS third installment or a movie, but TVB hasn't notified her or anything. She does not believe its because she doesn't have a contract with them because the two male leads aren't TVB contracted either.

Francis Ng Did TITS2 Because of a Vegetable Lady

Francis Ng's Sam Gor had left another deep impression on the audience. Last night, he wasn't able to take part in the finale dinner with the rest of the cast and the audience because he's busy working in Mainland. During an interview in Mainland, Francis responded to Sam Gor having a thousand fan girls. He laughed: "Before shooting TITS2, I had no girl fans. Initially my wife wasn't worried because the majority of my fans had tattoos and one time on the street, one of these fans suddenly rushed over and shouted my name. I was so frightened and wondered if I should turn around to say Hi, but at the same time I feared I would get scolded at if I didn't." The 52 year old actor described he accepted TITS2 all because of an elder lady who sells vegetables at the market. The vegetable lady kept asking why he's not in any TV series and didn't have the opportunity to see his performance. Francis laughed: "Because I get a discount, so I must participate in the series!"

"Tiger Cubs 2" Big Explosion Scared Residents, Called The Police

"Tiger Cubs 2" Big Explosion Scared Residents, Called The Police

Yesterday Joe Ma, Linda Chung, Him Law, Nancy Wu and Mandy Wong were shooting a big explosion scene for TVB new series Tiger Cubs II. The crew chose to shoot the scenes near a large government stadium in Causeway Bay. The scenes started out with Linda opening fire at Timmy Hung, then Nancy drives a car into an office building and threw a grenade. The SDU heard the loud bang and rushed to the scene.

Before the cameras rolled, the cast were relaxed and chatted happily, but once the staff shouted to clear the location, they ran over to their positions for this big scene. Linda, Nancy and Mandy ran over to their distant positions in 9 seconds!

Because the explosion was too severe, the staff asked all artists to take cover to avoid injuries, but among the female artists, Linda had the best treatment. She got to sit in the car and enjoy the big explosion scene in the car. The others had to stand there or crouch besides the car! At the moment of the explosion, the blaze was extremely fierce and not long after the dark smoke filled up 5 stories in the building. The people in the nearby buildings thought there was a real explosion and called the police. Results, several fire marshalls and the police came to the scene. Producer Lam Chi Wah said: "So sorry, the loud explosion sounds frightened everyone. We followed all the procedures and finished shooting the scene in the designated area."

Linda got special treatment from the staff, allowing her to sit in the car during the explosion. Linda was asked if she was in a great panic? She laughed: "I wasn't that scared because the biggest explosion scene I've done was actually in Brother's Keeper, so I had the experience. (Why did you hide in the car?) I'm the most well behaved, the staff kept telling me to get in the car, treating me just like a real BB. Actually I really wasn't that scared. (The explosion scene got the police involved?) Proves how realistic the scene was, we want to show the audience the best. The crew had done all the registrations and applications beforehand, but if the loud scene disturbed other residents, really sorry about that."

Joe expressed Tiger Cubs II filming is ending later this month, and praised the HK Police Force really does work efficiently, they came right to the scene when reported, but he was sorry the explosion caused disturbance to the nearby residents.

Him Captures "Evidence" On Camera

Him expressed he ran to the best place to take over and used his phone to take a picture of the scene. He shared the picture with everyone around him. Him disclosed this is not his first time shooting such a big explosion scene, so he wasn't as frightened as the female artists. He said: "Just now after we completed the scene, I immediately took off my helmet and put up a 'YEAH!' hand gesture to prove that I was in the scene. (Wasn't afraid the heat may melt your phone?) So that's why I used another staff's cell phone to take the pictures, haha!"

Nancy Felt Face Heating Up

Mandy and Nancy expressed this is their first time shooting such an intense explosion scene. Mandy laughed: "I felt scared, but at the same time I wanted to see it. Its so exciting, but when I got up, the explosion already happened. Luckily there were many other people on the set. Just now the camera man said he was filming a similar scene, but ended up losing all his hair. Just hearing that scared me, so I kept my head as low as possible during the explosion. (A resident thought it was real and called the police!) I saw the police come, but we were just filming. If we disturbed the residents, so sorry!" Nancy exclaimed: "It was such a strong explosion. I felt my face heating up. The staff told me to be careful and stand further away!"
